Kira Hooker

Hello! My name is Kira Nicole Hawk Hooker. I grew up in the lovely city of Grand Rapids. I am currently majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) working towards by Bachelor in Science degree. In terms of a career, I would like to educate more people about the reality of brain development in order to stop young teens from being tried as adults in criminal court. This is simply because they aren't adults and their brain won't have the ability to think as such until about age 25. Despite all of this, I still have no idea about what future that specific interest entails. I do know that I quite literally want to spend some time taking care of babies in Africa. I spend my time doing many, many different things due to the fact that I enjoy many different things. I love to sing, listen to and make music, photography, cruising, reading, doing yoga, traveling to new places, visiting with my family, eating out at restaurants with people I love, watching tv shows and movies (i.e. The Office, Game of Thrones, Bates Motel, About Time, anything cheesy and romantic...), seeing/creating art (mostly out of soft media - charcoal, pastels, paint, etc.), sitting and enjoying coffee, being alone, being with other people, the color grey, coffee shops, exuding and absorbing good vibes, learning French (not including attending French class), spending time with my cat (her name is Kitty and she is the sweetest cat you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting), caring and worrying about the treatment of animals and plants and humans and all living things, brushing my teeth, wearing fake face jewelry, and stripes.
